Our pre-sessional courses are preparatory courses which are completed before your main course of study in the UK. These courses are designed to enable you learn the skills or knowledge necessary to adjust to living and studying in the UK.
Our pre-sessional courses combine English language tuition with introductory lessons on the British education system, and the study skills required. Course content varies according to the subsequent programme of study.
The length of the pre-sessional course will depend on your English and academic ability. The college will make a recommendation based on an assessment of your ability on application. Courses usually last between one term and one year, and may also include study on our summer school programme.
