Since 1969, Abbey College has been running high-quality, all inclusive Summer English Language holiday courses.

Our 70 acre campus in central England is ideal for holiday courses as it has everything a student needs in one of the safest locations in the country. All students receive over 16 hours per week of general English tuition from qualified EFL course teachers. The exciting and varied vacation course programme ensures students have something to do from when they wake up until they go to bed.

It is our intention to provide every student attending our holiday courses with everything essential to their stay on-campus in one package price. We take care of students from the moment of arrival to the moment of departure. Some additional options are available which do cost extra, such as room upgrades, private lessons and alternative excursions.

An excellent opportunity to combine learning English with the benefits of various activities on offer at the college - including regular cultural excursions and sports tuition - in a fun, residential environment.

The course fees include:

  • Group tuition
  • Standard accommodation on campus
  • All on-campus meals (lunch is not provided on full day trips)
  • Excellent pastoral care
  • Weekly laundry
  • All course materials
  • Internet, library and self-access facilities
  • All mainstream on-site activities and social events
  • End-of-course certificate and teacher’s report
  • Two full day excursions per week (on Wednesdays and Saturdays)

Transfers

Airport transfers for students on vacation courses can be arranged from most airports. Please see our Fees for 24/25 or Fees for 25/26 for details and prices.

Excursions

Excursions are prepared and supervised by our staff with under 16’s always being accompanied. Students receive a briefing from teachers during the week about the cities they will visit. In addition to the included excursions on Wednesdays and Saturdays, optional excursions are offered on Sundays for an additional charge.
