Teacher of Art/History/History of Art
£350-£400 per week or part time equivalent (depending on suitability, qualifications and experience). Fixed Term from 28 April to 12 May.
We are looking for a fun teacher of Art/History/History of Art for a group of five 11 and 12-year-old Russian students who will be staying at Abbey College for two weeks from 28 April until 12 May.
You must be lively, resourceful and able to use your initiative to create a worthwhile educational experience which will appeal to young minds. Experience working with international students an advantage.
This role could be residential and meals can be included. Either full time or part time possible.
You will need to have or obtain a DBS before commencing.

Residential Teaching and/or Boarding Staff Couple
We are looking for a teaching and/or boarding staff couple who are interested in living in a school apartment and playing an active part in the life of the college.
Exactly which subjects you would teach or what role you would play in the boarding team would depend on your strengths and interests.
This role would suit people who are very sociable and like to be at the heart of a community. It would also suit people who have an international outlook or who have been working overseas in education and are looking to return to the UK.

Teacher of Law
£25,000 - £29,000 per annum pro rata
Abbey College in Malvern is looking for a teacher of Law to work on our International Foundation Humanities, Law and Social Science programmes. This is an RQF Level 3 programme, equivalent to A Level. Students then progress on to a range of degrees at University, including Law.
This role will be offered on a 0.2 FTE permanent basis. A wider contract may be available to a suitably qualified candidate who can offer other subjects. There is also the possibility of a residential position.

We are looking to recruit a Matron, with effect from April 2018, to work with our existing welfare team. The post is residential and includes daytime and evening duties. Working as part of a team of residential staff you will be responsible for pastoral issues, general housekeeping and the low level medical needs of our students. The ideal candidates will also have energy, an enthusiastic approach to life, an international outlook, a desire to contribute to the creation of a happy and stable environment for the boarders in their care, and a calm, friendly manner.
Accommodation and meals are provided free of charge during working hours. If you are caring and energetic with a mature attitude and genuine interest in working with young people we would like to hear from you. Please note this post is offered from April 2018 but we could wait for the right candidate.
There is the possibility of family accommodation for a residential couple.

Looking for energetic teachers of English to work with young people in a beautiful rural setting this summer. Teaching work available in April, June, July and August. CELTA required. Accommodation available.

Responsibilities and Duties
Indication of Duties:
- Deliver a challenging, engaging and effective course of English lessons to a class up to 18 international students, following the relevant scheme of work and the school timetable.
- Write students’ end of course reports.
- Create a stimulating, student-focused and welcoming classroom environment for your group and contribute to the presentation of the EFL department as a whole.
- Participate in the development program (observations, feedback, TD sessions and skill sharing).
- Safely and confidently manage a group of students during off-site excursions and providing continuous supervision, following the relevant itinerary.
- Campus duties; according to rota (e.g. activities, student free time and meal time supervision).
- Contribute to the overnight element of student care if required.
- Attend induction day and participate in short course/summer school set-up and shut-down.
Qualifications and Skills
Required qualifications: CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL.
Preferred qualifications (in addition to above):
- bachelor’s or master’s degree
- first aid qualification
- child protection training
Required experience: little
Preferred (recent) experience:
- teaching English as a foreign language
- working in boarding schools and/or residential summer schools with children aged 8 to 17
Language requirement: C2 language user competence in English.
